Do
you accept walk-ons?
Yes, we accept
walk-ons - but we strongly suggest for both
your comfort and our efficiency that all campers
pre-register. When we are approached with a
lot of walk-ons, it is difficult for us to provide
the same type of service during registration that we
can to people that have pre-registered with us.
This results in longer lines, restructuring of room
schedules, and shortages in give-away t-shirts and
meal bands. Again, we can't stress enough the
importance of pre-registering for all of the
wrestling camps. An additional fee of $30
dollars will be added to your tuition for
Registering less than 7 days prior to your camp.

What
do I need to bring with me to camp?
As soon as we receive
your application at our office, and you are
registered into our database, you will receive a
Camper's Packet. In this packet you will find
any other forms that you may have to fill out (ie.
Medical Information), and a booklet which describes
everything you need to bring with you.
Included in those
items to bring are:
Items
for your room
- A light blanket, pillow, sheets and pillow case.
It is also recommended that you bring a fan and a
clock for your dorm room.
Personal
items -
such as a toothbrush, comb, towels, wash cloth,
soap, casual clothes, light jacket and a swim
suit.
Wrestling
gear - such
as wrestling shoes, workout shorts and T-shirts,
head gear, knee pads if needed, combination lock
and a bag to carry your shoes to the mat area. You
should have several changes of wrestling practice
clothes. (There are coin-operated washers and
dryers in the residence halls.) Head gear is not
mandatory, but is recommended.
Medical
supplies -
Each camper needs to bring his or her own medical
supplies. Our training staff will assist you in
all medical needs such as taping and therapy. In
addition, campers requiring any medication should
bring that to registration with them. Our training
staff will store the medicine for you and make
sure you receive your regular dosages.
Medical
History Form
- If you do not return the medical form within two
weeks prior to the start of your camp, please
bring it with you to registration. It’s very
important that this be signed by a parent or
guardian.
Optional
items -
Tennis courts will be available at certain times
of camp, provided you bring your own equipment. A
camp store will be open at various times during
camp. You may choose to bring extra money with you
to purchase snacks, soda, clothing, or to play
video games.
Do
I need to see a doctor for a physical before coming
to your camp?
No. While there
is a Medical Information Form that needs to be
filled out before you are allowed to participate in
any camp activities, this form can easily be filled
out by one of your parents. It basically gives
us a brief medical history on you, makes us aware of
any allergies or medical conditions you may have,
tells us who to contact if we need further
information, and verifies for us the fact that you
carry your own medical insurance.
Will
you accept girls to your camp?
Yes. We merely
ask that if this is the case, you let us know about
it ahead of time so that we can make the proper
housing and facility accommodations for you.
We have had many girls attend our camps, both as
commuters and resident campers.
